Dog Fetal Reabsorption of Babies or Puppy
This refers to the process in which the embryo or fetus dies and its liquids are absorbed. The resulting dehydrated fetus and membranes suffer an autolysis; however, on occasions they are expelled. The reabsorption generally takes place around the 28th and 35th day of pregnancy. The causes are not all that clear. There can be many causes, for example hormonal failure during the maintenance of the pregnancy, infection of the genital tact, lack of, and other unidentified causes. Consult a professional.
