Dog Pudding Recipe
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of skim milk
4 tablespoons of canola oil
- In a bowl sift the flour. Use a separate bowl and beat the egg and then mix in the skim milk along with 1 cup of water. Little by little pour the egg mixture into the flour and beat it until you obtain a smooth batter.
- Allow the batter to sit for 1 hour.
- Put the oven rack on the highest position and then preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- Use a 12-cup muffin pan and oil them. Put the muffin pan on the top of the hot over for around 15 minutes (when the rack is very hot), and the pour the batter into the muffin cups and put the pan back on the top of the oven. Then bake it for around 15 minutes until you notice the popovers are puffed up and golden.
Keep leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for no more than 3 days.
